How to Order a Film

A. You need the number of the film you want. Find it by:

1. On the internet, go to www.familysearch.org.

2. Look under the heading “Discover your Family History”.

3. Click on “catalog”.

4. Click on down arrow box.

5. Select how you want to find a film in the Salt Lake City Library, such as “place-names”.

6. Type in the “For” space Ireland, or West Virginia.

7. Suggestions pop up, select the choice that fits what you want.

8. Click on “search”. Choose the one you think is best.

9. Write down the film or fiche title and catalog number.

10. Make sure it isn’t in our own collection before you order it.

B. On the internet, go to www.familysearch.org/films/.

1. “Sign in” on the top right of your screen.

2. Make sure “Vernal, Utah” is showing in the headline.

3. Select the loan type you want, click on the drop down arrow box.

4. Type in the film number.

5. Click “search”

6. Add to shopping cart.

7. Get your credit card ready…

Follow the directions on the screen and you will soon have a film coming to the Vernal Utah Family History Library…just for you!
