The Internet continually changes. More information is added each week. Remember to check for new sites and new information often.

nationality. Browse the links. Remember to watch for date range. This site also

Pennsylvania. Search by date of arrival or ship name or browse the lists.

records of Ellis Island from 1870-1920 are available here.

Remember
most manifests are two pages and you can only view one page at a time.
Lookups
People around the world have volunteered to lookup information in various sources that they have easy access to.
Be considerate and keep the searches small.
Be specific as to what information you are asking for such as: Name, locality, and range of years.
Remember these people are volunteers—they have a life besides looking up information. Be patient. It may take a couple of days to receive an answer.

Message Boards
This is a place to post a message for others to see and respond to. Message boards are divided by surname, locality, or topic.
Keep messages short.
In the subject line include the following – name of ancestor, time period, and locality.
Read others messages before posting.

Cemetery indexes are on the internet but they are very inconsistent in contents and availability.
